Zion’s Partners in Ministry

  • Northern Lebanon Clothing Closet

One of our newest ministry opportunities is the Northern Lebanon Clothing Closet, which we helped to start through the NL Ministerium. For the latest Clothing Closet news, visit its website.

  • The Lutheran Camping Corporation of Pennsylvania

The Lutheran Camping Corporation provides a creative, Christ-centered ministry for people in all stages of life, in partnership and cooperation with congregations and individuals, for the service and proclamation of the Gospel.

  • ELCA World Hunger

In a world where as many as 720 million people—one in every eleven—face hunger, we are called to action. As members of the ELCA, we believe in a faith that rolls up its sleeves and gets to work.

ELCA World Hunger accompanies communities in need, working alongside our congregations in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as trusted partners and Lutheran churches overseas.

  • Lutheran World Relief

Lutheran World Relief envisions a future where all people, in every corner of the world, can live full, dignified lives.

The organization works with people based on need, regardless of race, religion, or nationality, and does not evangelize. Lutheran World Relief provides aid in emergencies and helps families restore their lives. It partners with communities to build and grow rural economies, ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty so families and communities can thrive.

LWF’s goal is to help people build self-sufficiency and create new community-owned approaches to problem-solving that will last long after its projects end.

  • Lutheran Disaster Response

Lutheran Disaster Response shares God's hope, healing and renewal with people whose lives have been disrupted by disasters in the United States and around the world. When the dust settles and the headlines change, they stay to provide ongoing assistance to those in need.

  • Lower Susquehanna Synod

In the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we feed the hungry as we have been fed by Christ. In 2016, our synod became a Reconciling in Christ Synod. We welcome with full participation and inclusion all who are seeking God’s love and grace.
